I have a new (used) 2005 Toyota Prius and the maintenance required light just came on. How do I turn it off?

I don't want or need to take it to a dealer yet...the dealer I bought it from did the 15,000 mile maintenance 2,000 miles early to complete the sale to me. I just drove over 2,000 miles and the odometer is now at 14,767.
