Where is the Gas Filter in Eclipse 2001 3.0Вї?

I need to know where is Gasoline Filter in my 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse 3.0 V6. Is not in the Gasoline tank and neither below of the co-pilot seat outside in the chassis. I really apreciate your help. Thanks
