How do i fix a leaking radiator?

hi, i hve a leaking radiator in the bathroom, the water is comeing out from the nut on top of the valve near the spindle.

it is quite simple, my bro closed the valve fully, opened up the nut fully and wrapped a few turns of some white plumbing tape aruond the spindle and re tightend the nut, my radiator hasn't leaked again for over 2 years now
