cartridge air filter

Just put new brake shoes on my dirtbike. Is there a break in period to get them working efficiently?

I have a 74 Kawasaki G5 dirtbike, and I put new brake shoes on it. They won't fully lock up the wheels when I pull on them all the way. I'm wondering if there's a break in period as to where it takes awhile for them to work at their best maybe. Any help

Yes, they have to wear in.On that old of a bike,your housing is worn bigger than the radius of the new shoes.Your best bet is to get a new wheel. If the radius of the drum is bigger than the radius of the brake shoe, you get minimal contact.
